Jay, I am also a Cobb Shinn Model T fan. I have been collecting them for years and know that you have too. Have you ever seen a listing of the number of different ones published? I'm sure I am missing a few. Based on their age, some have fun and entertaining notes on the opposite side many times written with a fountain pen.
My wife collects all the different Cobb Shinn and other post cards.
The Cobb Shinn's are printed in sets of 12. The one above with the cross between the 2 names , another with four dots set in a diamond pattern, as well as a set which have a Dutch theme.
Other sets are by Whitt and Raymond Howe and there are a couple of odd Model T ones including a Charlie Chaplin Cobb Shinn set with a Model T theme.
The Ford Archives in Detroit has a full list.
Thanks Jay, for introducing me to Cobb Shinn. Here a couple of quotes that I really enjoyed.
"Gone are the days when my heart was lone and sad,
Gone are the days when my temper was bad,
Now I smile and sing from morn' till night,
Because my Model T has brought all my delight".
"A little spark, A little coil,
A little gas, A little coil,
A piece of tin, Two-inch of board,
Put 'em together and you have a Ford!
