In Nov. last year I (& we) were informed that a model T Snowmobile that was taken to Labrador by
Com. MacMillan in 1927 had been found, all apart
& rusty. It had been found by an archaeologist in a remote location. It appears that The Canadian Archaeology Association has an interest in restoring it because of its historical importance.
This T was shipped from Ford to the Snowmobile Co.
for conversion then loaded on a ship and delivered
to Labrador. It might be considered a barn find and its history is well documented on film (Still and Movie).

Chuck
That is the car, it and all its parts have been removed and are now in storage in Nain Labrador
where it will be restored. From other pictures I have it has all the Snowmobile parts and most of tie T parts also. I will be assisting them from afar as much as I can. I think that it well be in the hands of the High School and/or Jr. Collage Shop staff and students. As soon as I know how will be in charge I will send them restoration and repair videos to help with this project. Anyone interested in helping can contact me.
