That's a god one Jay.
I like the "moment in time" photos like this one.
Don't those front fenders look like they're sitting quite high above the front tires? Maybe it's caused by the shock absorbers on the front axle?
Keith
That and the fact that the car is accelerating on the ramp leaving the ferry might make the fenders appear higher.
Keith, I believe the photographer is taking the photo at the top of the ramp looking down, hence the abby-normal look of the fenders.
Yeah, look how much space there is between the bottom of the cross member and the axle - those are either some seriously arched springs or the car is just leaning back going up hill.
Anyone else remember that great Kim Carnes song "Marty Feldman Eyes" ?
"All the boys think she's a guy
She's got Marty Feldman eyes"
Burger, I liked the Marty Feldman version much more than the Betty Davis eyes song.
Thanks Jay, the 1st photo was great, but the last two scared the hebe ba jebes out of me (what ever they are)!
Happy motoring,
Warren
That car is just following the car in front of it. The driver said "Drive this way." and he did.
Anyone get this?
Herb,
Oh, yes!
Jay,
Great photo!
Yes, that style front shock absorber usually does hold the front end an inch or more higher than stock T shackles. It works into the geometry that makes them somewhat dangerous. Neat accessory, for display. Do NOT use them.
Thank you Jay and all.
Drive carefully, and enjoy, W2
I am the NORM !
