We were at the Vintage Motor Bike Club convention in Portland Indiana this past week & thought we would stop to see the museum in Richmond on the way home on Tuesday. A friend from Oklahoma was going to do the same. We arrived just in time to see the parking lot full of T's & a local club was getting ready to head out on a short tour. We were invited to go along, so Sonya & I hopped in the back of one T & our friend got a ride in another T & we had a great time. Thanks to all of the people who treated us so warmly. Afterwards, we went to a large grass airfield to see antique planes having a fly in. The Model T's also came out too. Was a pretty neat way to wind down a vacation trip!

We're trying to figure out how to bring our '26 touring along to the motorbike convention next year so we can have fun with both clubs! Bob has a 19 roadster, a 26 tudor & a 27 touring, but he doesn't think he'll haul one all the way from Oklahoma...

Tim your group was very nice to hang out with. We really enjoyed ourselves. I think our chauffeur's name was Rich (he had a 10yr old grandson with him).

We were on the tour as well in Richmond. It's was a fantastic time! Great Hosts, Great Tours, Great Roads, Nice Pace! The event was publicized in the Model T Times as the "7th Annual Antique Airplane Fly In" at the Hagerstown airport July 22nd. This was originally part of the Model T Centennial Celebration in 2008, but has become an annual event. The local Henry Hoosiers Chapter planned and carried out this event, which actually started on Sunday 7/20 with a gathering at the Model T Museum and a tour to dinner. A fantastic tour on Monday 7/21, and the tour to Hagerstown on Tuesday. We're already planning on attending next year. There were cars from Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Missouri, Nebraska, Michigan, etc. Tony & Susan Wilshire from the Indy 500 Chapter put on the Monday tour, and Benny and Patty Young from the Hoosiers Chapter put on the Hagerstown Tour on Tuesday.

Mike, we actually came a day early and we took our T to the Vintage Motor Bike Show in Portland. We had pre-paid for a camping site so we could park our truck and trailer. We offloaded the T and drove around the grounds and took it all in. Then loaded back up and headed south to Richmond to start the T tour events on Sunday.

It was great to meet folks from all over and see T's that we don't normally get to see.

Also great thanks go to Justin at the Model T Museum. He represents the Museum well and was a most gracious host.
