The mighty Sambuca has sired a grandson for me. Everybody please welcome Bucking Billy. I'm calling my grandson Bucking Billy, because my twin brother Bill would always say to me "how would you like me to bounce you off the wall, Boooy" and Bucking Billy did bounce me off the walls on our trip from White River Jct to Dunbarton.

Happy motoring,

Warren

Nice car Warren. That green really suits a T. I wish I could get hold of a set of bumper bars like yours for my Tudor. Am I seeing things or are the rears installed on the wrong way round? I thought the curved end went inboard and the straighter end to the outside.

Allan from down under.

Thanks guys! Bucking Billy like all young colts has some issues, but that's the fun of driving/having a model T. Made it home from White River Jct., Vermont ( just over 70 miles) in a little over three hours. Stalled Billy at a traffic light in Lebanon, NH and three young men came running over to help me push him into a parking spot (there is no neutral with the clutch pedal). One hour and twenty minutes to Andover, NH (about 35 miles from White River) and Billy would not go up hill (fortunally I had just past an Irving gas station) went back for gas and loaded 6.4 gallons (the seller had filled the tank before my test drive). I had noticed a strong/rich smell of gas while driving, but could not adjust the needle value in the carburetor while driving to Andover so when I stopped made the correction (I had to remove some of the linkage). Another hour and twenty minutes and I was in Dunbarton (35 more miles) so I stopped to check my fuel level 1.9 gallons to top it off! Today I'll start working on the clutch pedal adjustment.

Happy motoring,

Warren

Congratulations Warren. It looks like you have another winner

I see that there is a problem with your garage. It is too clean. My garage hasn't looked that neat since it was first built.

Warren...congrats on the car I KNEW you'd be bringing home! She's/He's a beauty! I like the 5 A.M. bedcheck! Been there! Except for those less fortunate to be out in the pole barn. I'm not sure I'll make it to 88, let alone look that good if I do!!
Enjoy the ride.

Tim

Clearly you need a bigger garage now. Congrats, that T looks great.
