Is there a difference between a '26-27 front spring, and a model A front spring. dimension wise are they the same width.
Mine is broke, and I have a chance to get one from a Model A.

Pat

All dimensions differ, you can't fit a Model A spring in a model T crossmember
. 26/27 front springs are the same with a slightly lower are than earlier T's, but you can use earlier springs without problems.

1925-27 front springs are 8 leaf, and are one inch lower than the 7 leafs that were used through '24. I believe some of the early '25s had 7 leaf springs, but for only a few months.
