A friend is looking for someone to do Babbitt work on a T engine in the Northwest (Oregon or Washington or ??). The guy that used to do it in this area has folded up shop and stopped doing it. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Oops. I did what Steve Jelf said on the forum, NOT to do. I didn't read the post above mine. Sorry, Tom.

I've used Dave Johnson and been very pleased with the results for several engines. Unless he closed down suddenly, he has a shop in Wilkeson and can be reached at 509 901 2929.

Antique Auto Ranch does great work but has had some lengthy lead times.

Dave is only babbitting 1909-1931 Fords. I saw him about two weeks ago. He doesn't have room in his new place for anything else.

I can also recomend his sirvices highly. He has done many of my engines and have always been pleased. Some of this babbit jobs have held up to some very high milage and abuse by me also.
