The Pancake don't require the perches to be removed, and transposed from L to R like the Beehive.

Here is the Beehive instruction.



This literature on the improved single spring Pancake states that perches are not removed. But you have to swing the perch around to engage the shackle. The Pancake front bracket is designed at an angle to restore the caster when the perches are twisted around.
