Jeffery became Nash in 1917. In 1902, Jeffery began producing a car called Rambler. In 1950, Nash-Kelvinator introduced the Nash Rambler. History does repeat itself.

During W.W.I, Jeffery produced the Jeffery Quad trucks for the war effort. When the company was bought by Charles Nash after his departure from G.M. they were branded as Nash Quad.

True. Maxwell became Chrysler but not long after Maxwell bought Chalmers.

If you compare one of the last Maxwell cars built to one of the first Plymouth cars built, they're virtually the same car.
