Greetings from Coldwater, MI!
I've been gathering information for a while about owning and maintaining a T and this forum is by far the best resource out there. I'm really enjoying learning all I can.
I don't have a Model T yet (gotta sell one toy before I get another says the Better Half), but I look forward to a future purchase as I've been obsessing about it for a while and have decided to make it happen.
Thank you all for the information and awesome forum! I won't be posting much but I'll be lurking and learning, and once I find the right car to buy I hope to become a bit more active in the community.
Also, for your enjoyment, I present this....

Brandon,
WELCOME!
Please don't be stranger, even if you haven't found a T to buy yet.
Thanks for the entertaining link. He's always good for a bit of amusement. Are you going to buy your T from him?
Yeah, right, but first I gotta pay off the bridge I just bought from a guy.
His sister is posting in the classifieds. =)
LOL "sister"
I have to hand it to him, this Bissel character is a very determined individual. He must make plenty of money selling other peoples cars as a undesignated "middle man" Basically he finds buyers for cars he does not own, adds some bucks to the price, and becomes a go-between for the original seller that he has no contract with. He probably asks for a healthy deposit on a vehicle, then goes and purchases a 5000 car, and quickly charges 6500.00 to the unsuspecting buyer. A quick 1500 bucks made.
I think he is one of those boys that lives in his mothers basement and watches Si-Fi TV all day while eating candy canes.

Hey... Coldwater! That's just down the road from me (I'm in Charlotte). I admit that I usually go East on 12 not West, preferring to head for the antique stores in Allen.
Nice to have another Michigan guy here.
Yeah, Allen is a good destination. I bet 25% of the stuff in my house came from that area.
Thank you all for the welcome!
Zach,
I regularly visit Charlotte to attend Stanton auctions. I have a friend in Sunfield that has T's and usually visit him during the auction weekends. His name is Dana, do you know him?
Jerry, I can't say I know your friend Dana, but he sounds like somebody I should know. It is amazing to me how many T guys there are within 45 minutes of Charlotte.
Michigan ought to be the best place in the States for T enthusiasts! What with the Piquette Plant and Greenfield Village both being somewhat of a Mecca, not to mention the Gilmore Museum with all of its brass era and steam vehicles.
During the summer, I practically live at the Gilmore Museum. I'd love to work there someday.
It's an amazing place, the Gillmore. I have a good friend who works at the Piquette Plant, their only paid employee IIRC. I need to go back and introduce myself to some of the other folks working there. I bet there are some knowledgable folks...
