I am considering the notion of having a vehicle hauled from New England to the NW. Looking for feedback on who is good, pricing, etc.
Thanks in advance.
Absolutely the best service and charges by Joe van Evera, Wallace, Michigan. He picked up my car that I purchased and took it back to his heated garage. stored it until the weather improved and then delivered it to the shippers in New York, all for the cost of the extra fuel he used over what he would ordinarily have used on the trip. The fact he once owned the car I bought, and had been watching the ebay listing with interest, might have had something to do with it.
This is just another example of the wonderful kinship in the model T fraternity. Our greatest disappointment was having to cancel a trip to the US last May, and not being able to meet Joe and his wife Nancy in person.
I wish that you could be so lucky!
Allan from down under.
My suggestion is that you leave it in New England with me and visit it once a year.
You'll save a bunch of transportation money and make me happy!
You won't find a better person than Jim from Enclosed Ford Transport. He brought my car from CA. to IN. He is a great guy and he'll take good care of your car as if it was his own.
Anyone do a recent coast-to-coast haul for a general price idea ?
I contacted Jim, but he informs he has no trips going to NE at this time. :P
