Hi:

Can anyone help me determine the date of the old Ford in the attached pic. That date will help me to date the adjacent stone public fireplace, which is a landmark along Route 16 in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.

Many Thanks,

Jon Chew Need to date this Ford

First of all, I don't think it is a Ford.

Where on route 16 is that land mark? Spent my first 52 years in NH and don't remember that :-(

Some people think if it's an old car, it's a Model T. Have you looked at e-bay lately?

There does come a time when dating old cars seems more fun than dating women :-)

I don't know if this will help. It's pretty fuzzy.

Jonathan,

As others have stated, it's not a Ford. That's for certain. Regardless of what make it is, it's very representative of a late teens or early twenties car. Hopefully that helps some.

I'm thinking though, that fireplace could have been there many years before that car rolled up. Just from the image you posted it's hard to tell but, could that even be the remains of a fireplace & hearth from an old, burned out cabin?
