NLNB is "in the books." This was my 7th straight year, and another great tour with fantastic people and cars. Among Fords, we had three Model A Fords (1903-1904), one Model F, two Model K, three Model N (1906-1908), one Model R (1907) one Model S Roadster (1908)and one Model S Runabout (1907-1908). All thirteen Fords completed the 120 mile reliability run.
A few pics and video:
The tour began with rain and drizzle. Once again the tour organizers had everything well planned and everything went off well. Below are a few pics taken at the first stop:

I am glad to see the rain did not stop anybody from enjoying the event. That is a great experience to be sure.
Ed,
The weather all week was great. Highs in the low 80s and no rain until Saturday. Still, it was dry when we needed it to be, at the beginning, at Buffalo (mid point) and the finish. An absolutely wonderful experience with many good friends and spectators. I recommend any brass ere enthusiast try to take in the tour,
Rob
Enjoyed the pictures very much
I learned a few things about our cars this year (as we do every year on this tour).
I've never driven for any extended time over 25 mph with our Model N. However, trying to keep up with the Model Ks, I averaged just over 30 mph (Model N). I was surprised how comfortably the N drives at 32 mph. On the negative side, when I checked mileage, the N was only averaging 13 miles per gallon as a result of the faster pace. Usually I drive 20 to 25 mph, and average 20 to 23 miles per gallon.
Both Model Ks were checked for miles per gallon on the Thursday tour, and amazingly, both averaged within a tenth of a gallon per mile. Our K averaged 12.8 miles per gallon and the other Model K averaged 12.9 miles per gallon. Our K has a Buffalo carb and the other K a Holley.
All in all, a great tour, and I think all the Ford owners were pleased with the way their cars performed.
I just posted a report and pictures to the HCCA website. If you'd like to see it, click on this:
