Wonder how they "burned out" the carbon?
Cool photo.
I wonder what the big car is?
I would like to have the signs.
The Ford Sales and Service with the Lincoln and Fordson would make a great addition to the garage.
I would love to have one of those Ford--Lincoln--Fordson signs, but a nice one is WAY beyond the means of a po' boy like me these days......
According to Google Earth, it's still there.
Probably used an oxy/acetylene torch - get the carbon warm/hot and touch the oxy. lever and presto !
Great photo Dan, thanks for sharing.
Happy motoring,
Dr. Warren
William, My wife noticed the building as we were driving by. Our T was going to fast and she couldn't get a picture of it. Thanks for posting the current version.
Mike, Don't give up looking for one of these sign's. Found this one a few years ago, very reasonable. This version must be earlier because there is no Lincoln on it
Or the dealer did not sell Lincolns.
