Hartford-Truffault is the original manufacturer of that type of shock, but that appears to be a craftsman made one. That is a guess, but the original hartfords were adjustable and had labels on them . Neat shock. Sometimes put at each corner, sometimes n the middle as shown. There are tons of ways to mount them.

I found an advertisement with that exact shock. It was made for model T by the Hartford shock absorber co ( formerly Truffaut-Hartford ). I can send the ad to you but do not know how to post here.
