The workers in the Jacksonville Fl store were putting up the artificial Christmas tree display and marking down the BBQ grills, Lawn mowers & Pressure washers to make more room for Christmas stuff! (The Halloween candy isn't even out yet) so she picked up a box of Christmas cards that she says looks like they have a model t on the front.

The time to buy Christmas stuff is December 26 when it's all half price or less.:-)

Our "summer" is just beginning. It goes until about Thanksgiving day here in Southern California. however, all the seasonal goods in the stores sell early. It is too late to try to find a bathing suit, but maybe a flannel shirt or sweater can be found now. Then when we need that flannel shirt or sweater, they will be selling spring and summer stuff! I'm sure the Christmas things will be out soon, however here they usually put them out after Halloween. You see Halloween is a good time to sell costumes and candy, Christmas is a good time to sell just about anything, however, only food sells at Thanksgiving.

Anyway, if it's not a hardware store or auto parts store, I rarely go shopping.

Actually, I think the entire retail industry is a little out of sync. We have two high school boys who started school on 8/11/14. Many of the stores in our area were just putting out "back to school" stuff, a little late in this case. If they'd check local school calendars they might see an increase in sales volume.

Oh well.

P.S. I worked in pubic education my entire working life. I have no clue why we start school so early now.
