The early brass car has the up right crank but no wings?? Bud.
Most likely due to an accessory crank holder - I've got one on our '14 that holds the crank upright as pictured above but has fitments for a padlock.

My grandmother is sitting on the hood. The steering wheel off of this car is on my '15 now The steering wheel was used (for over 35 years) as the base of a home made birdcage stand when the car was junked. They then, bought a brand new 1926 Nash. Photo is from 1925, making my grandmother 3 years old at the time. Thankfully, she is still with us!!!
