Not the best or the worst of YouTube documentaries, but maybe one of the best I've seen, giving added insight to city/rural life changes after the War to end all wars to economic collapse.

In reference to Model T's ..... when asked why a family owns a Model T and not having a tub in the house, she replied, " You can't drive a tub to town ! ".

Warren Harding, a man without any real purpose, just wanted to be liked by the masses.....

History repeating ??? Who really learns.... or forgets ???

A small percentage of people will learn a lot whether they are taught much or not. Another small percentage of people will never learn much no matter how much you try to teach them. Between those two groups, most people need to be taught and will learn if taught. But where are we heading when we have a government that chooses to not teach much because some of the politicians don't want intelligent people voting them out?
Just me, wondering again.
Drive carefully, and enjoy, W2

I watched it and did notice one misquote. It was a car in every garage, not two cars. I still remember grand-dad telling me the car went up on blocks every winter and he took the Michigan Avenue street car to the Rouge. Neither of my grandmothers ever learned to drive.

I remember an old Maude episode on TV where Maude's husband looks at an old lady and remarks "I'll bet she remembers Teapot Dome." and the lady proceeds to mumble something about the administration.
