It is cracked (pictured) and pretty pitted.
The links are high def pics of the posted ones.
So replace or is it salvageable?

A crack in that location is common and should be no problem. More important is whether the threads are good enough to hold. If they are, go ahead and use it while you look for a better one if you want. But you may find that one's good enough. The NH is the most plentiful carb, so it will be easy to find one. For just a body, don't pay over $10. If it has some good usable parts, you can go higher. Get the MTFCA carburetor book and enjoy. A Google search of this forum will also get you some helpful hints.
Tony -- As Steve said, the NH "swayback" carbs are plentiful and cheap. I'd get a better one, rather than spending any time and/or money on that one.
Tony, I have one available- sent you a message.
Toney Barchock:
I just bought 10 NH carbs today and will have all but one of them in the classified section shortly. They all liked better than that one you have.
Below is a picture of some I had before.
stop hoarding will ya! ;)
Thank you, but I am building a speedster out of a basket case. So am going to upgrade to a performance carburetor and manifold.
Thank you for the offer.
Dave doesn't hoard parts, he buys them to keep them away from the hoarders.
Now Mike----takes one to know one
