I finally got around to unloading the new (to me) Model T project. It is a very early 1926 non starter car. It has been discussed in other threads in the last month or so. She's rough, but with her "new shoes" that are hand me downs from her baby sister "model A" she looks a little better. The wheels are my temporary model A wheels with T hubs welded in them. They will have to do till I get the other 2 non demountable 30 X 3-1/2 inch steel felloe clinchers that non starter Improved models used. At least the A wheels look better than the shoes she was wearing borrowed from her third cousin (twice removed) Chebby Chevy. She has had a rough life, but now she is with people and other Ts that love her, there is a long road to recovery, but she's at home now ....

Does anyone have another "purple" lens to match (or close) to the one I have. I would love to have a pair. I have stuff to trade

Stephen, Thanks for the link, It looks pretty close to the same tint.
Wonderful car. I like the Ford script radiator cap. If you are going to restore her take lots of pictures of how she looks now. Priceless.

The old girl still runs, Its hard to imagine why, from the looks of the wiring. The temp gas tank in the first "as-bought" photo almost looks like an IV bag at the hospital. Im cleaning the gas tank and slushing with POR gas tank sealer next. That should help some. Then new wires and maybe a test drive. (after a oil change)
Donnie, I have one 30x3 1/2 steel felloe front wheel that is in fair shape. If it will help you out, let me know. I'll have to dig it out to look at it better. I might be interested in doing some trading. I am located in NW MO. Let me know. Dave
Bump. Dave
