I never thought I'd be asking about a Chevy... Anyway, trying to help a buddy. We're having big trouble trying to insert the radiator grill into the shroud. Both pieces were together when he got the car, now it appears there is no way they'll go back together! Has anyone here had the pleasure of working on one of these? Anyone of you have a 1936 Chevy?
Just to keep things decent, the guy I'm trying to help did a beautiful restoration on Clarkston Michigan's 1926 Model TT Boyer fire truck. The Chevy is his first car and he's almost done restoring it.
Thanks.
Anybody?....
Sorry Jerry VanO! I have worked on a few old Chevys over the years, but never a mid '30s grill shell. I wish you (and it) were closer. I would love to come over and try to figure it out.
I am surprised no one here has been able to help yet. You may have to try the AACA or Vintage Chevrolet Club sites.
Good luck!
Drive carefully, and enjoy, W2
Wayne,
Thanks! I did get a PM from another member with a possible source of help. I'll check with them after I return from the Ohio Jamboree of T's!
