I found this and assumed it was Model T era. It looks like a heat riser of some kind but does anyone know what for?

That is a pre-heat intake flange for an Air Friction carburetor. It goes on the exhaust manifold and has a steel hose that leads into the intake throat of the carburetor.

Hey, that's my '25 TT C-cab with the Air Friction carb and air heater...shown in the photo. I never knew that there was a *hook* that went around the exhaust manifold...mine doesn't have it and uses a wire. Now I can make it right. Thanks.
