Was looking in langs for Kingston l4 carb parts will order needle seat and gaskets today but what is the cork plug for?

Ronnie I think that gives a cushion to the brass flapper in the carb it fits in that screw above it

Ronnie, trim the plug down as much as possible as it is way to long. It is just a cushion and if left to long it will keep the carb from opening up as it should. KGB
