I haven't been to the auction/swap meet at Auburn, Indiana since the Kruse fiasco. Anyone been there with the new owners (I don't know who took it over). Is it worth going to? Not buying any cars, just like to look and hit the swap meet.
My son and I went last year; first time in a long while. We thought it was worth the trip. There were not as many older cars as years ago and nary a single Duesenberg. I believe the admission price was somewhat lower than the last Kruse we attended. We are going again Saturday if it doesn't storm (again)
Paul you can send us in N.Central Ohio all the rain you want! We've hit a dry spell for most of August, lawns look like a wheat field ready for harvest! Little rain outlook long term.
I went yesterday, military and retired military got in free. Walked the swap meet, only got a Ford T oil can, couldn't make the car corral. Not to bad, but could have used a golf cart or even a bicycle. Forecast for rain over the weekend ( hit and miss storms ).
