We saw an advert in the Classified linking to a Craigslist in Duluth MN which looked interesting. After many emails we decided to drive from San Diego to pick them up. We did find something to take which helped defray the cost of gas. It took us three days t get there and three to return, however with the time change with us on the return we were able to visit Gary Hoonsbeen, The Bill Speedy Smith Museum and Dave Huson on the way home. Now we have to unload all the trailer and truck bed and find somewhere to store it....

The Smith Museum is mind blowing, almost too large. They on offer a three hour conducted tour, I would have preferred to spend all three hours just looking at Model T speed equipment....
Tony - If you come back for the Speedster Reunion next summer you will be able to spend unguided time in the museum. The Speedway Museum will host the 2015 International Speedsters Trials & Reunion June 24-27, 2015. You will have the opportunity to not only tour the museum but there is always a good turn out of cars and the hill climb. Tons of fun! See the link below.
