My 1912/13 touring's drivers side rear wheel is the only rear wheel that has drive. After jacking up the car, putting the axle on stay jacks...I start up the car and release the hand brake that puts the rear wheels in drive. I can stop the passengers side rear wheel with my hands but the drivers side cant be stopped.

Aren't both rear wheels supposed to have the same drive?

Any advise would be appreciated.

Stopping either rear wheel should cause the other to turn. If you stop the left wheel, the right one should turn. Are you saying that you can't stop the left wheel at all?

Differential allows back wheels to turn at different rates like when in a turn.

But more importantly, sounds pretty dangerous jacking up rear wheels and running them, getting out, and stopping moving wheels with your hands. Please be careful!

You are obviously not trying hard enough to stop the driver's side hard enough.
Try putting the passenger's side wheel on the ground.
