I have not seen this posted but I was just made aware that Bill Guiney from Hendersonville, NC passed away on 9/1. He was a great guy, super smart with T's and most any other vehicle and a ball to be around. He was in attendance in Boone in July and appeared to have a good time. He was always involved in the Kanuga tours and he and Max went everywhere together. I usually got to see him at least once a year on a tour somewhere.
There is another Model T mechanic in Heaven helping fix cars.

Best wishes to his family. It's always tough to see another one go. T folks are such great people.

Thanks for letting us know, Tom.

Bill was a great guy. We enjoyed being with him on many tours and will miss him. We knew him even when they still lived in Boston.....& that was many years ago. He never did loose his New England accent. :-)

May he rest in peace.

Keith

Suzi and I have attended 3 (maybe 4) tours that Bill Guiney was also on, just this summer. Bill always picked on me and I picked right back at him. He was a fun guy once you got to know him and I will miss him and his dry sense of humor.

For those who don't recognize his name, maybe his picture will jar you memory.

R.I.P, Bill Guiney!

Bill Guiney
