I have a collection of old copies of the Model T Times and the Midwest Chapter newsletter going back to when my parents joined in the late 50's. I think my mom canceled her subscriptions in the late 90's. IIRC their member number was 557. I have no interest or time to ebay them one copy at a time. Ive done some searching and can't come up with any value or even if anyone would want them. Any suggestions as to the possible value of them? Im located in Northwest Indiana if anyone is interested in them.
Generally the value is gone some since the MTFCI sells a searchable CDs set (or flash drive) that has all those old magazines on it. So loaded on your computer is the way to go for reading and searching.
Otherwise, most can be bought at swap meets in stacks, usually $1 to maybe $2 a copy. Some folks collect and like to add issues. Earlier date issues are more collectible that most.
If you just want them to go to a good home you could place an add in the classifieds here and the International club telling what years they cover and how many, free for the cost of postage. The best way to sell on ebay is by year not single issues. There are usually several ad's there for ether of the clubs mag's so you should be able to judge the value. The Midwest chapter newsletter would be more of local interest, you could contact the club and see if someone would like them.
Would be a great chance for a newbie to get some readable information.
I hope it goes to a good home and not the trash!
