Just had to share this.
I have a choco lab that is the greatest dog going...
I get both T Times AND Vintage Ford...started getting Vintage maybe 2 years ago...been getting T times for close to 40 years...dog is now 11 years old.
Until I put them long term storage...they sit in a basket next to my chair...
My dog has chewed the cover off of and 'dogear'd' each and every issue of Vintage Ford while he has never taken to any T Times...
Maybe it says something...but if I had to guess, my guess is that T Times is using water based acrylic varnish on their covers...and Vintage Ford is maybe using something that is grain based coating ?
I just don't know how else the dog would want to eat the one and ignore the other
Anyone have any ideas? (I'm posting this as just now my last issue of Vintage Ford wound up behind my chair with the cover missing and a corner chewed off of all pages!)
BTW...he is not a chewer normally...but this Vintage Ford is running counter to 'something' for him
George, isn't it neat that as we get older it seems we have more time to ponder these wonders around us? I don't know the answer to your question but now have something else interesting to think about. KGB
Clearly he's an AMERICAN dog, and not foreign!
You could say that he just eats up T knowledge!
Hopefully your Lab is not a Chevrolet dog seeking revenge. Once in a while our Black Lab gets into the garage. He will hike his leg on my wife's KIA but never on my Model T.
Vintage Ford magazine uses 'recycleable' materials.
