I know that some times this is discussed on here.
Just got this in an email from cousin Dale:

Besides the 1157 and other styles.....they offer a driving light replacement LED for modern cars that is very bright. I have them hidden in the brass head lamps on our 1910 2 cyl. REO. They are very bright and do not draw much current. The wires (Very Small) run inside the red rubber tubing going to each brass head lamp. The LED driving light is tie wraped to the burner....nothing modified that can not be easily returned to stock. Their LEDs are the best that I have found. Much brighter compared to others that I have bought on ebay. However, they are more expensive.....sometimes you get what you pay for!
The stop/running light (1157) LED replacement are available in red...vice blue or white.
Les,
Have thought about doing that with headlights also.
I am assuming these are 12 volt LEDs?
Do they make them in 6 volt?
Thanks Larry

Was looking for a headlight replacement but so far am unable to find it.
John, look under Daytime running lights in their web site. I am very happy with how bright they are. They have a small module/transformer wired in series with the LED hook up wires. I spliced in longer wires in order to mount the small module underneath the frame. The wires are color coded. I used black cable ties inside the brass head lamps to secure the day time running lights/LEDs. All connections were soldered with black shrink tubing. Turned out very neat!
