I like the Tanker in the Background.
I wonder if it was an Oil Truck or a Truck that contained Water and wet down the Roads. I no longer live in a City so I haven't seen a Street Washer in Years. Do They still have them?,or have they been replaced by Street Sweepers.Come to think of it I haven't seen a Street Sweeper in years either.

My second-hand recollection is that you told the attendant how much gas you wanted, then he would pump that amount of gas into the clear glass container on the top of the pump so that you could see it, then the gas would flow by gravity down the hose into your car's gas tank.

Yes Mark, I think that's how it's supposed work. Here you can see the attendant at the station is watching the sight glass as he fills up my car.
