Anyone else following this great epic?..Last season only 7 episodes left, were now up to 1931.
I try and catch it whenever I can. Worth watching for the cars alone.
Great show, great historical fiction, and great cars. Very sad yo see it end. I would love to see a Capone spin off.
Like it. The producers are making a decent effort to keep the cars period correct, but the thinly disguised Ford AA trucks in earlier years were sort of obvious.
The music is great too - created by my friend Vince Giordano, the world's leading expert on 1920s and '30 music: http://vincegiordano.com
Each tune for the "Boardwalk" soundtrack is performed off the original '20 orchestrations.
Vince's also an old car buff. He likes Packards, but I don't hold that against him.

Rick:
Too bad the "Boardwalk" story didn't start earlier, lets say 1909 ???? Great ragtime music.
Hi Bob:
True - but Paragon and some of my solo piano playing was heard on at least two episodes of "Boardwalk Empire."
Thanks!
Rick:
Your performances were well noted, early on in the series. Believe this is the last season of Boardwalk. Not having HBO, I do pick up some "episode info" from friends..... guess I'll be in line for the DVD or Blu-Ray package in the near future ????
Thanks for all you have contributed.

It's an outstanding show... for adults... I wouldn't use it to showcase 20s culture to anyone under the age of 18.
