After hearing about the death of Brendan Tevlin in West Orange NJ last June I think I need to protest because the "media' did nothing to report it.
Let it be the other way around and there would be riots in the streets, looting, and the "poverty pimps" would be on TV every night.

enough said - I'll stop being non-politically correct and just be concerned about what the world will be like for my Granddaughters.

After all there is nothing I can do about stupidity.

thank you for posting about this as I had not heard a peep about it.
Without getting on a rant,I am tired of this type stuff happening and still being told by 1 side of the equation I have nothing to fear.
The threat is no longer something to prepare for in the future. It is here.

Sick, sick, sick.
16,000 homicides annually in this country...
including this one..

A sad commentary for a country that used to respect life.

There's no outcry about it, because it doesn't suit their purpose.

Grisly murders are a longstanding American tradition. Ask Joseph Smith, Andrew Borden, and Emmett Till. When they involve religion or race, they get special attention.

By the way, media are plural.

Don't you know? Brown is just one more victim of society. Society made him what he is. :-)

From wikipedia:

Suicide is the 12th leading cause of death in the United States. According to the Center for Disease Control, in the United States as of 2010, more people died of suicide than in car accidents. In 2010, the total number of suicide deaths in the United States was 38,364.

The use of firearms in suicides ranges from less than 10% in Australia[23] to 50.5% in the U.S., where it is the most common method of suicide.[24]
----------
Murder-suicide events are not tracked overall.
-----------

What bothers me is that police are trained to empty their guns, regardless of circumstance. In the majority of cases this is excessive. One police bullet will stop an aggressor, especially one running away. This makes the cop into judge, jury and executioner.

Ralph,

Cops are trained to "eliminate the threat". Coupled with a dose of fear, all bets are off. Also, even though cops train for such scenarios, the ability to shoot accurately is greatly effected under pressure.

On a side note, a majority of all suicides with a firearm involve men.

Well Ralph it apparent that you've never been shot at. If someone sends one slug towards me they get 10 back...and that's only until I get my next clip in!

Dennis - You are too kind.

If someone threatens to send a slug my way they should expect to get 10 rounds sent toward them before it happens.

If someone says they are going to destroy you, why wait until they do it before you take action?

BTW - I remain concerned about what the world will be like for my Granddaughters.

I think the reason that cops seem to over shoot is because they look like they enjoy the coffee and donuts more than once a day, and it also may be they do not know what a physical training
facility is for.

Brendan Tevlin, 19, was murdered by Ali Muhammad Brown, a Muslim terrorist, in an act of domestic terrorism.

Brown told authorities that murdering Brendan was a “just kill.” He was seeking vengeance for Muslim deaths in “Iraq, Syria, (and) Afghanistan.” His homicidal Islamic terror spree took him from coast to coast. The 29-year-old career thug admitted to killing Leroy Henderson in Seattle in April; Ahmed Said and Dwone Anderson-Young in Seattle on June 1; and college student Brendan Tevlin, 19, in Essex County, New Jersey, on June 25. Tevlin was gunned down in his family Jeep on his way home from a friend’s house. Ballistics and other evidence linked all the victims to Muhammad Brown. Police apprehended him last month hiding in an encampment near the Watchung Mountains of West Orange, New Jersey.
Transcript of Brown's confession to police:

Brendan Tevlin's obituary reads like an award ceremony, except that all of the achievements were his. A young Irish Catholic American, Brendan had completed his first year of college. He was an older brother to three, a Eucharistic minister, president of the Gaelic Club, and a talented bagpiper. In high school, Brendan was a member of the National Honor Society, Lacrosse Team, Ambassador’s Club, Student Council, Math Honor Society, and Spanish Honor Society.

Brendan would often volunteer to play his bagpipe at funerals, probably never imaging how soon seventy-five bagpipers would play to the hundreds of attendees at his own. By every account he was a charismatic, kind, and outgoing young man.

Our ultra right wing liberal president and his lapdog media refuse to acknowledge any of this because it does not help their cause.

Leftists only want to hear news that incites racial prejudice, such as the way they twisted the story of the police officer who defended himself against an attacker named Michael Brown. You never see anything about how the police officer was severely beaten by Michael Brown before he ended the attack by killing his attacker, exactly in accordance with police policy, and in my estimation, the only choice he could make when confronted by a belligerent 275 pound attacker. Police told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that they have substantiated Wilson's version of the incident. "Police sources tell me more than a dozen witnesses have corroborated cop's version of events in shooting," the paper's crime reporter Christine Byers tweeted, according to the New York Post.

Wilson, who is white, suffered an "orbital blowout fracture to the eye socket" during the Aug. 9 encounter.

Now just bear this in mind when you are out and about in public. There are more Muhammad's out there. More than we can fathom. And as with the Oklahoma bomber, they could be as American as we are.
The days of peaceful streets in America are coming to a end.

There is always hope Mack -

Well, it's Sunday here.

Muslims seem to have unusual privileges...blocking streets, etc. (No, I'm not of that persuasion)...

May I impose, and post this? :
