I picked this up at a garage sale the other day and wondered if anyone has any information on it. There is no manufacturer's identification on it. It must have been for a car bigger than a Model T as it is 13" wide, 34" long and 23" tall. It fits on the running board of my '27 touring and allows the rear door to open but hangs over the edge of the running board a few inches. It's quite well made and has loads of storage space suggesting that it might have been made for salesmen to carry samples.
Sounds neat, Val. Did you mean to post a photo?
I tied twice to post a picture with no success. Hopefully this time it will work.
One more time
looks like its made to mount way up front, like to leave room for what? the carbide generator?
When I found it I thought it would block both doors on the drivers side but it sits far enough up on the fender that the rear door is unobstructed but I don't think there would be enough room for a gas generator unless the running board was a lot longer than a Model T.
