Kinda hard up for parades weren't they?

They were the best looking girls in the town!

I think that garage or shop is still standing. I will be going through there in a few week and will check. At first I thought it was part of the old Ford dealership. Nice little ranch community but not a lot of business left. It's pronounced Wil-Sow and is located on the west side of the Crazy Mountains, north of Livingston.

Technically it's Will Sal after the founder's children, Willard and Sally -- but hardly anybody pronounces it that way -- and the locals look at you funny if you do. I'm pretty sure that building is still there.

those were the only girls not afraid to show their faces. The sheep were smarter they did not show up for the parade.

just sayin'

I don't want any of you guys making fun of anything in Montana. When I was an "over the road" truck driver back in the seventies and eighties Montana was my favorite place to be.

Happy motoring,

Warren

I might be movin' to Montana soon
Just to raise me up a crop of Dental Floss Raisin' it up
Waxen it down
In a little white box
I can sell uptown
By myself I wouldn't
Have no boss,
But I'd be raisin' my lonely Dental Floss
Raisin' my lonely Dental Floss
Well I just might grow me some bees
But I'd leave the sweet stuff
For somebody else...
but then, on the other hand
I'd Keep the wax N' melt it down
Pluck some Floss N' swish it aroun'
I'd have me a crop
An' it'd be on top

(that's why I'M movin' to Montana)

Movin' to Montana soon
Gonna be a Dental Floss tycoon
(yes I am)
Movin' to Montana soon
Gonna be a mennil-toss flykune
I'm pluckin' the ol' Dennil Floss
That's growin' on the prairie
Pluckin' the floss!
I plucked all day an' all nite an' all Afternoon...
I'm ridin' a small tiny hoss
(His name is MIGHTY LITTLE)
He's a good hoss
Even though He's a bit dinky to strap a big saddle or
Blanket on anyway
He's a bit dinky to strap a big saddle or
Blanket on anyway
Any way I'm pluckin' the ol' Dennil Floss
Even if you think it is a little silly, folks
I don't care if you think it's silly, folks
I don't care if you think it's silly, folks
I'm gonna find me a horse
Just about this big
An' ride him all along the border line
With a Pair of heavy-duty
Zircon-encrusted tweezers in my hand
Every other wrangler would say
I was mighty grand
By myself I wouldn't
Have no boss
But I'd be raisin' my lonely Dental Floss
Raisin' my lonely Dental Floss
Raisin' my lonely Dental Floss
Well I might Ride along the border
With my tweezers gleamin'
In the moon-lighty night
And then I'd Get a cuppa cawfee
N' give my foot a push...
Just me 'n the pymgy pony
Over the Dennil Floss Bush
N' then I might just Jumb back on
An' ride Like a cowboy
Into the dawn to Montana
Movin' to Montana soon

(Yippy-Ty-O-Ty-Ay)

Movin' to Montana soon

Our parade here in Noxon is so small that we turn around at the building supply and go through again. PK

Our T club does a parade like that in one of the neighborhoods here in Portland Or. So short you do it twice but it's a fun time.
That photo reminds me of something you would have seen in one of the Alp community's when they brought the cows down from high summer pasture. Moo!

Pat Kelly, sounds like my kind of town and I'll bet they have more than twice as much fun doing it. Just like on the TV show Cheers "Where Everybody Knows Your Name" so you have to behave, because they'll tell your parents.

Happy motoring,

Warren

Just looked at it on Google Earth. Hard to tell about still existing buildings but check the mural on the side of the grocery store. I think the cars in the picture are in the mural.

They parked those cars there and a local guy whose name I should know took some photos and then painted the mural. Bob Woodburn's '17 touring is in it. I drove one of his other cars for the 100th anniversary several years ago. He gave over 100 people rides in his T that day.
