The Ford Tri Plane was in Hutchinson, Ks the last three days. So I went out to see it and got to ride on it. Then they ask if I would bring my Model T out and take a picture.

Watching The Roosevelts on PBS. It appears that FDR flew to accept his nomination for President in a Tri-Motor.

I flew in a Tri-Motor a few years ago near Iola during their Military Show........I got to sit in the co-pilot's seat....... :-)
The cost then was $60 so they haven't raised the price much considering what gas costs now and what it cost then.

I got to fly in it when it was at Hunnington, IN this past June. A friend that was with me also got to sit in the co-pilot's seat but was turned over the controls halfway through the flight. He is a pilot and captain in the Michigan Air Patrol. The pilot told us he was a former T owner and showed us the photos of his '14 Touring car. Was like flying in a T with wings on it.Seemed to go about as fast as my '25 Touring.
