$5,400. That seems about fair for a cool looking older speedster with a Ruckstell.
Was the red steering wheel a 1919-only feature ?
Burger,
I only did a very quick glance at the photos the other day. Did not look close enough to confirm it. But the steering wheel registered in my brain as a 1928 model A wheel. It was a one year only feature of model As that the steering wheel was red in 1928.
Drive carefully, and enjoy, W2
The red Model A steering wheels were a feature of the AR's, which were the very early '28 Model A's.
WOW ! Youze guys are like walking encyclopedias of good information !
The early '28 A wheels were molded with integral spokes, and were a dull red. What's in the picture looks like a Brass T spider with a (probably) T rim painted bright red.
1920-27 T wheel: stamp steel spider painted silver or other light color with Fordite rim painted red.
Alex Alongi, who used to post on here quite often, had a '27(I think) that had a red steering wheel rim. That was the only one for a T that I ever heard of. Don't know if it was original or not. Dave
