Some pics of an odd u-joint. Ford Script.
Maybe for an auxiliary transmission?
Any info appreciated.
JD I have some of them they are for use with auxiliary transmissions.
Without checking the fit, I cannot say for certain. However, I suspect it is specifically for a Muncie auxiliary transmission. They are a bit prone to breaking, and somewhat desirable. But, then, many Muncie users simply have a straight coupler made which works fine provided the frame and pan are all straight and properly fitting.
Drive carefully, and enjoy, W2
I'm with Wayne. Looks like a Muncie U-joint.

Since it has a Ford script, the manufacturer must have taken a stock u-joint and modified it.
Is it for sale? danuser88@ktis.net
I was thinking Muncie, but had never seen one in person.
It is not for sale (Thanks for all the inquiries), but what is "market value" on it?
Verne - I wonder if Muncie bought loose parts from Ford and just assembled it with their yoke??
I have a couple and they do not have Ford script on them. Seen a few more and no script.
No they are not for sale. Sorry.
