Be aware of my dads 1912 model T that my X took from him when he was dieing. It is a 1912 copy and does not have any original 1912 parts. She is trying to pass it off as an original. It is a good copy that he had about 5k into. Just a heads up. To see the car on Youtube copy and paste:1912 Model T Ford Roadster Runabout Everett WA

Seems like those damn "EX's" always act like the Oklahoma land grab. I had one myself, it cost my brother and I some 25 grand to stop her in her tracks.

Where is this car listed for sale? Does she have a real title?

just sayin'

Yes,just to begin with, you could not do that paint and upholstery or buy all that brass for 5 grand. If that's a repro body, those are a few thousand as well.

The body is plywood, paint, upholstery, brass reconditioning etc, I did myself for him. The engine and drive train is a 19 done to look like 1912. He had just passed away when she tried to take his home and ended up with his T.

Fenders 1k, running gear 1k, brass 1k, top and bows 1k wheels and tires 1k
Have a great day, Will

I saw a shipping company loading the T up in a Shipping truck today. I guess some Ford dealership guy in Germany bought it for 29,000 k ! I am in the wrong business. My X wife some how sold a car that looked great(aftermerket fenders, hood, rad, paint etc) for 29 K sight unseen ! The chassis was cobbled together of many different years of late T parts. Run of the mill. The engine and tranny was a 1920s done to look like a 1912. A little blue paint and brass and I guess people will pay anything ! An easy 20 K profit here. Must have been pocket change to someone. WOW
