I bought this car at auction running and rebuilt out of many parts from many years. Now I'm no traditionalist so please pardon me for adding my flare but here she is getting her new trim

If it's a pieced up T there's nothing you can do wrong to it... Sometimes we just gott'a make'em our own ! I say build it the way you want it and have fun doing it, sometimes the odd-ball get's all the attention at shows.
If your going with a south Western look's it looks like you've got the tooled leather look going on already on the hood...? Hard to tell in the picture.

That's copper on both sides. Mt Adams and Mt hood. Both these volcanoes sit in view of the Columbia river gorge. Hood river Oregon.

Looks like it might run a bit hot with louvers blocked off and radiator air flow obstruction.
