Looks like a 1908 Ford S Roadster. Not many cars out for 1908. Iowa was one of the early leaders in number of cars (by state). However, maybe not so much in Mason City.

Herb, yet another cool pic! Keep 'em coming. Looks like fairly well off couple in the car which looks to be the only car on the road. Most everybody there looks to be doing OK judging by the fine clothing. Maybe a Sunday stroll/drive?
Would that be a dealer plate on the car?
