What we need is our own reality show called THIS OLD FORD and limit the contents to non-hot rods.

This might drum up more interest in the Model T's and Model A's and perhaps in doing so spark interest to possible newer members.

Much like this old house you would have a team
of experts on engines, Transmissions, rear ends,
and electrical. These four experts would either go to the owner of the vehicle with the problem,
and use a couple of assistants from the area being visited.

Sponsors might include, Bob's Antiques, Chaffin's garage, Langs, Mac's Snyder's and others who would
like to be associated. The overall concept would
be under control of MTFCA as much as possible.

AFTER ALL IF HENRY PUT THE WORLD ON WHEELS, WHAT BETTER WAY TO REMEMBER.

I almost forgot, the two assistants to the expert
could be listed with THIS OL FORD by area and distance they would travel to assist with a problem.

Video projects such as engine rebuilding, electrical problems, Transmission rebuilding,
Rear end rebuilding.. I have nothing against
the MTFCA rebuild manuals but have problems with photograph. I know, if I see on a video something being repaire, re-worked etc it would be easier to accomplish. One more thing The reality program would have a primary host to direct the experts, and no I would not take the position. The host should be based on Experience and age.

onbe more thing. There could be a younger person
present when a problem is being solved or cured,
asking questions to enhance his education

I now turn this over to you all for discussion.

For the A. People things would work the same way.

John
