it appears that the body has recently been trimmed to fit the chassis around the rear spring hump. Not sure if these were really mated or just hung together.

i'm not sure the body was trimmed, i think they added the tin on the sides due to the wide frame of the whippet. looking at pics in the "speed and sport" book, it also looks much like a frontinac body. perhaps someone way back had the body but no T that ran, so the whippet came into play. some one here should know, John Steele? Mike Bender? you guys seen it?

When I looked at the photos, it looked to me like an after-market factory made body modified to fit the Whippet chassis. Not a bad thing at all. I think the car has some very interesting potential.
