Getting ready to rebuild the rear axle in my 09 and am wondering if anyone has used the modern thrust washer Roller Bearing assembly 2528RB? If so were the results good and are you happy with it

Have been in my buddy,s 27 Touring for about 12 years. We live in the mountains and he always has a car full. They work great. Scott

Dale:
Used those small pin bearings, had to re-do , replaced with original steels & bronze thrust.
Pins were pitted & cage scraped, I did not deem them up to the task. Just my experience.
Dale - If you haven't already, do a search for "roller thrust" here on the forum, or a google search with "model t roller thrust bearings". You'll get varying opinions and lots of discussions on this topic. Then you can make an informed decision.
FWIW, I don't see the need for them, when the bronze washers work very well. YMMV.
Thanks guy for the information. I've decided to go with the bronze washers. much less expensive
Bob B I ordered six of them from you this morning
