The float valve leaked again on my 24 Coupe and I am going to replace it this time around.
Its a NH carb and I used a ball type(grose jet) in it when I rebuilt it 3 years ago.
I noticed in the vendor catalog that the stainless steel needle type is available. I don't think they were available until a year or two ago. Or maybe I just missed them. The needle with the Viton tip has been around for quite a while.
So which is better? The Viton tipped needle or the stainless steel type.
Or maybe I should ask which has less tendency to leak or stick?
Personally, I like the new steel reproduction one that is US made. I think most of the vendors have them. I get them from Langs.
Agree with Stan.
