All week, every morning I have a visitor arrive an
goes into my garage. I am currently having a well drilled thru solid rock. So far it is a a depth of about 60 ft and will probably go to at least a hundred.

but back to the visitor. It is a 1924 Touring
and when I told him he could park it in my garage,
he declined until I opened the door and he spotted
my Syverson Bodied Canopy Express delivery.

As it has been raining on and off all week, when he arrives it goes automatically to the garage.

WHAT A WAY TO GO TO WORK ! ! !

John

Hi John I am curieous on the drilling. How much per
foot. My boy built a 100x100 horse barn way out
back. Piped water no way. Plan; only option is
I bought 40ft tower model 8' wheel windmill and
pump a Baker Heller Aller. all still on pallets.
I'm already thinking atleast 200+ feet thats our
river level. sorrey this is OT but I cant find
drillers round here. who do ya call? thanks to
modern age we dont get phone books no more?

From the title, I thought you were going to show us a picture of a possum, raccoon, or some other wild animal! :-)

I have a 22 Syverson hack, it's my profile picture, When last I went up to Palatine, ILL. the son was still there and making kits per orders, not stocking them. That was a few years ago. I also have a well, it is 465' deep and the water is the best I've ever had, clear as can be and not bitter.

Sam, a 200 foot well drilled through rock will probably run you in the $7000 range. 12 years ago my well driller went 60 feet in solid rock and cost me around $3200 including the pump and pipe to the house, about 40 feet from the well. I may be low in my estimate, and of course it all depends on who you're dealing with. But this will give you a rough idea.

Tyrone,

It is around $22.00 a foot thru Rock. My neighbors who live across the road had a new well drilled and they went to 300Ft. My other neighbors
before they moved to Florida had a new well drilled to 160 feet. Stan is now down to about 60 feet. Stan's helper has a problem I think with work. When he is there he does pay attention to what he is doing, but he always seems to come to drill kind of late, except this morning he was here at 6:30 am

We have set aside $14,000.00 to have a new complete set-up, if need be That is about 3/4 of
one years VA Compensation ( 90% disabled, Agent Orange)

My scanner is down and I have to wait to get a new one.
