Cloverleaf body.
Might it be a 1917 Scripps Booth Chubby Roadster?
Here's a '17 Scripps Booth cloverleaf roadster.
Definitely not the same. Everything is a bit different (especially the height difference between the running board and the bottom of the body. However, Scripps-Booth was in a state of flux at that time. GM had taken them over, after valiant efforts failed to save the brand before the sale. Production was always low, and a wide range of models were offered through the years, everything from cycle cars to limousines.
The car in the photo posted by Herb bears a strong resemblance to some cars built by Scripps-Booth. But I won't stick my neck out yet to say it is one.
Thanks Herb and Royce and Darel and Erik!
Drive carefully, and enjoy, W2
I thought it is an Auburn.
