It doesn't look like a pickup.
Strong Man Pickup, 1915
I believe that is a Metz, '15 to '17 model 25. It was the first Metz model to offer a touring car (although its predecessor, Orient, did offer a touring car in about 1907, two are known to exist). However, the front axle and fenders still look a lot like the 1913 I have part of.
Quite a feat to lift, or even just hold, the front end of that car like that! A Metz is a little lighter than a Ford T, but not that much.
Neat photo! Thanks Herb!
Drive carefully, and enjoy, W2
It is useful for the picker-upper that the car has those handy handles on the front. He would have trouble doing a similar pick up on a Ford.
I don't believe it's genuine. He doesn't look like he's lifting 600lb; his back would have to be straighter, and he's only 'lifting' with his finger-tips.
When did Photoshop come on the market???
About the same time that camera was invented!
