Tom,
Stuggart is beautiful. Be sure to check out the Mercedes-Benz Museum see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercedes-Benz_Museum -- it is free but don't let that fool you. It has some beautiful automotive history in the world. The official site was in German and I didn't have the easy - translate the site button on this computer. If you have never seen a hot tube ignition system -- they have one there on one of the very early cars. (Or they did when we were stationed there years ago.) Magneto -- distributor -- who needs them? [Actually they quickly switch over to electrical ignition -- but the hot tube ignition is a very interesting concept that was originally used.]
Yes, feel free to send photos and I will try to post them. Just click on my name, it brings up my profile and my e-mail is the third line down. Tue & Wed are usually a little more busy for me. Because of that if you have another volunteer -- you could send them to both or all three etc. and then whoever gets them posted first gives the others a break. Or send some to one and some to the other person. Please include any captions you might want added etc. Or for eye candy -- juts send photos -- I'm sure the group will add their own comments.
Again, have a wonderful time and a safe trip!
Respectfully submitted,

Thanks Hap . Been to the benz museum before . Germany 20 times,Paris 25 times . I will send pictures of progress if you can post .
Tom, If you have been there 20 times already then maybe they should give you dual citizenship.
I spent a tour of duty there with the Army 1963 -1965 and I think you will agree it is a beautiful place espesially Bavaria. Be careful on the Autobahn as they do have speed limits on it, near the major cities.
Perhaps you can get to see Jeorge Walther ?
Enjoy ! ! !
Gute Reise
