Would anyone here know the proper way to install them? I never really knew. How did the factory do it? I was once told they stay in one long strand and are rolled up tight and the roll sits on the saddle. Seems like a hassle like that and they can unroll when you drive fast. Pictured below is how I have mine now. Hopefully someone has a photo showing the right way. I have never been good at this kind of thing. I'm the kind of guy who had to carry a knife on dates because I couldn't undo a bra strap if my life depended on it. Thanks for any help.
Here's how I do mine, they seem to stay in place when I drive with them rolled up:

Well, I can't ask for better info than all that. I'll work on it. Thanks guys.
What is posted above is fine, but I try to get the buckle in a position where the rivet that holds it to the strap won't mess up the paint on my top socket.
I've had problems with longevity of the saddle and strap leather so I now soak them in boiled linseed oil overnight and let dry before installing. Now these leathers seem to stay supple for a very long time. . . .so now we have the phrase 'bra strap' and 'supple' in the same thread. I hope this doesn't get deleted.
